Lived experience forms the basis of this group exhibition of trans and non-binary artists, embracing a wide range of practices including media art, illustration, painting, costume design, textiles, and printmaking. Beginning as a SUM-AiR residency in early 2025, Gender Mutual represents a year’s worth of multidisciplinary inquiry into each artist’s unique relationship with gender identity and queer embodied expression.
